tilt and shift

At the moment it's pretty overcast here in Chicago, cold and grey. In an effort to break up the winter gloom, I attempted to fake a miniature of my neighborhood. I dig that little Chicago Bulls hoop there... so sad looking.

I started looking through some other images I have in the archive... although I think the first image works the best.

check out this Thom Yorke video, directed by Chel White... uses some of the same techniques, but with motion.

That's pretty cool, Liz! It's fascinating how tilt and shift works. I saw a bunch of different techniques on lifehacker a while ago (I think they made their own DIY tilt and shift lens or something...). Very cool stuff!
